SUPERVISED VISITATION PROGRAM

Amcal Family Services has a contractual agreement with Batshaw Youth and Family Centres to provide a supervised setting for court-mandated visits between parents and their children.

Amcal incorporates a multi-disiplinary, strengths-based, solution-focused approach. The Supervised Visitation program provides a safe and supportive environment for parent-child visits to take place in the presence of a neutral third-party Visitation Supervisor, who is not involved in the management of the case.

Who is this program intended for?
This program is intended as a support for families referred by Batshaw whose children are in long-term placement, to enable contact which would not be possible without supervision.

Where do the visits take place?

The visits take place at Batshaw Youth and Family Centres during the week; on weekends, visits take place at Amcal Family Services.

 Private Visits:

Amcal now offers, on a fee-for-service basis, a supportive supervised setting for visits designed to strengthen parent-child relationships in families who are dealing with custody and visitation issues.
